Meet Carl King: Owner and Master Technician at Carl’s Garage

Carl King’s career spans over 48 years as a mechanic, from an apprentice at a BMW dealership to owning Carl’s Garage. After a stint as chief engine builder for Korman Autoworks, specializing in building high performance BMW M10 and M30 engines, Carl amassed achievements and awards as a BMW Master Technician. Carl went on to be shop foreman at Athens BMW and BMW of Columbia. Carl also worked at shops specializing on Mercedes-Benz and air-cooled Porsche.

After retiring from BMW, Carl opened Carl’s Garage, a private residential garage. As an owner of his own shop, Carl provides affordable maintenance options for BMWs, Mercedes, air- cooled Porsches, and other select vehicles.
